Welcome to HostBoxy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, hosting services, and related products ("Services"). By signing up for or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

1. Services

HostBoxy provides a range of web hosting solutions, including but not limited to shared hosting, virtual private servers (VPS), dedicated servers, and storage servers. We reserve the right to modify, upgrade, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time, with or without prior notice, to improve performance or security.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including usernames, passwords, and API keys. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether authorized by you or not. You agree to notify HostBoxy immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. HostBoxy will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

3. Payments & Billing

Billing Cycle: Services are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly, annually) according to the plan selected at purchase. Failure to pay by the due date may result in service suspension.

Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and various cryptocurrencies.

Cryptocurrency Policy: Cryptocurrency payments are final and non-refundable due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions. When paying with cryptocurrency, you acknowledge that exchange rates are volatile; HostBoxy is not responsible for value fluctuations during the transaction process or after a refund (if applicable via store credit).

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Hosting or distributing malware, viruses, phishing sites, or other harmful code.
  • Engaging in network abuse, such as Denial of Service (DoS) attacks or unauthorized port scanning.
  • Hosting illegal content, including child exploitation material or content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (SPAM).
  • Any activity that compromises the stability or security of our infrastructure.

5. Suspension & Termination

HostBoxy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Specifically:

  • Non-Payment: Services may be suspended if invoices remain unpaid past the due date.
  • Policy Violations: Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy will result in immediate termination.
  • Security Risk: Accounts compromising the security of our network will be suspended immediately.

6. Data & Backups

While we may perform routine backups for our own disaster recovery purposes, you are solely responsible for backing up your data. HostBoxy does not guarantee the availability or recovery of any data stored on our servers. We accept no liability for any loss of data, whether caused by system failure, human error, or security breaches.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall HostBoxy, its affiliates, agents, directors, employees, suppliers, or licensors be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the Services.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

9. Governing Conditions

Your continued use of the Service after any such changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the Service.
